— Life Saving
— Treatment or equipment for critically ill children and special needs hospitals, nurseries or care centre

— Life Improving
— Special equipment such as assistive devices, wheelchairs, prosthetics, beds, communication aids or (special) toys
— Modification or retrofitting of buildings or vehicles for organizations that directly assist children with special needs

— Life Enhancing 1st Tier
— Equipment for activities for children with special needs of an educational nature and enable independence and self-reliance for children with severe disabilities

— Life Enhancing 2nd Tier
— Equipment for activities for children with special needs which are of a social, cultural or recreational nature which improve quality of life i.e. playground equipment, musical instruments

—  Life Improving or Enhancing for children without special needs
— - Equipment and support for orphaned, homeless, at-risk or impoverished children and youth which are of a social, cultural, educational or recreational nature and which will include day care and night care
