Equipment for a school for visually impaired children - Partnership with Oliver Williams

This project aims to equip a school for children visually impaired sometimes in association with multiple handicap including intellectual disabilities, physical handicaps, speech and language impairment and feeding problem.
Variety, together with the support of Olivier Williams and his theater group performing Hamlet will finance four set of computers and several lots of speech therapy oromotor training aid items. |

Therapeutic Listening Devices

Provide music players and modulated music chips to be used by the therapists of Heep Hong Society to cary out a specialized therapeutic program. This program will help children with developmental disabilities including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficits and hyperactivity Disorder. This project will benefit 330 children per year splited into 22 centers all over Hong kong. |

Rehabilitation equipment for the Lok Yi School

Cycling across Europe for Yaowawit

Variety is proud to support Todd Miller in his cycling tour across Europe, from Lisbon top Istanbul to raise US$35,000 for the YAOWAWIT school in Thailand.
This boarding school is welcomes 120 children ages 3 to 18, coming from poor and socially disadvantaged families in the Phang Nga province of Thailand.
This school give these deserving children a path for the future through education, English language instruction, boarding, and a nurturing environment.
All the money raised during this cycling challenge will be used to finance renovation works in several buildings and operational expenses. |
